My stay was at the Candlewood Suites in Eldorado, AR 2210 Junction City Rd. El Dorado, AR 71730

I originally had booked through booking.com which was my first mistake, my reservation was for March 6-8. Prior to the reservation I had a family emergency so in the state of mind I was in I contacted Candlewood Suites El Dorado, AR to see if I could possibly change my dates to the following weekend (March 13-16) the lady I spoke with name was Misty. After being on the phone for a couple of minutes Misty explained that she was able to change the dates for me. Mind you she failed to mention that I needed to call booking.com to change my date. As my stay date approaches I see that with how fast the virus is spreading it probably wouldnt be a good idea to travel, so I then contacted the hotel again about receiving a refund, they transferred me to reservations and they explained I needed to contact booking.com. So I did, I called and called and sent several messages with no response. Called the property back and they said they couldnt help me, that their staff did something she wasnt supposed to and they cant help me. Finally I received a response from booking.com stating they are ok with me be getting a refund as long as the hotel is. I contacted the hotel once again and the GM Michelle who isnt very customer friendly said they will not give me a refund. I AM ABSOLUTELY FED UP!! I myself have worked in the hotel industry at Hyatt and Ive never seen any customer get treated the way that I have. With everything going on I could definitely use that $197 refund. I have not been treated fairly and I am highly upset that no one will help me. Reservation #382180****

I still did not get a refund for being charged when I was kicked out

General manager kicked me out before my stay was over and has been charging my card everyday since I have first stayed there I was never told I'll be charged later on in my stay I was told the price and I paid for it

Contaminated room

I reserved at candlewood for 7 nights and paid 586.98 cents . It started on Sunday September 11, around 3pm when I proceed to check in. First of all I didnt think it was professional to bring an infant to work and hide the baby under the counter, that baby was so upset and was distracted to the clerk .. The lady gave me my keys to my room on the second floor, when I got on the elevator, it stunk so bad of cigarettes and dirty.. could not imagine what my room would be like .. and I was right walk in to a freaking smoke house stinky, sticky floors, dirty walls and bugs crawling! I want a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Person answered. I tried saying hello multiple times and then she hung up. Poor customer service. Disappointed.

Charged for room i didnt stay entire stay

I checked in the 17th checked out 18th and got charged everyday until the 24th. The front desk was very rude and lied and said I personally checked out with her on the 24th and if they would look at their cameras they would see I didn't go on the property after my checkout the 18th. I called back today 8/30 and they finally started a case for me now hopefully they get this resolved and I can get my money back. They put my account negative and the fees are just piling up this is very unfair to me as customer.

Candlewood suites in Lakeville MN doesn't honor the ihg rewards and their employees lie on the customers to management when confronted about their lack of honoring the rewards program.liz

Terrible awful place

I checked in at Candlewood Suites through no fault of my own. The Holiday Inn in Elgin, IL was booked solid. I checked in on a Monday morning. The next morning when I got up early to do a small load of laundry, a drunken guest accosted me verbally in the lobby and followed me around from place to place breathing alcohol fumes in my face. I had to call the Elgin Police. The rooms are dirty, I have been there a week and the room was never cleaned. You have to change your own trash bag and toilet paper. The revenue manager, Harin rude and uncompromising.

Customer services/ cleanliness

Lack of cleaning support and room was not properly cleaned from the beginning. I am staying a week I choose this hotel because I thought it would have a higher standard. I wont go into detail but not a good hotel for the money from my experience thus far.

Check out and leave or stay and deal with it.. That's your options.

You should have done your homework BEFORE you booked.

If you're staying there, you're not entitled to a refund. You learned a lesson.

Refused to help with a cancelation and would not refund my money

I made a reserved within 30 minutes realized I was going to have to work over and was unable to keep the reservation. She said they could not help me. I was just going to lose 234 dollars for reservation I had made 30 minutes earlier! I will never go to their hotel again. I was a frequent guest there because I travel with my work. Spend approximately 1000 a month there. Never again.

Dawnia went back on her word.

Well, i called. Feb 2021 and spoke Dawnia. And told her we would be coming down again Dec 17th 2021-Jan 1st 2022. She told me oh i remember you. I will give you the same rate as of last year $65.00 a night plus tax. So i called back in March and she said they are remolding hotel to call back in July so i did today and now she told me oh no i can't give it to to you for $65 a night plus tax it is going to be $94 a night plus tax. Now you tell me she is nothing but a LIAR THAT IS DAMN WRIGHT WRONG. I AM NOT PAYING FOR THEIR REMOLDING JOB. THIS NEEDS TO BE CHECKED INTO . WE PAOFED
