I checked in at Candlewood Suites 8515 Lyra Drive, Columbus, Ohio on September 19, 2019. I woke up at 2 AM with a Cockroach running over me. I went to the bathroom for more. Put three of them in a glass and brought them down to the front desk. The person at the desk as if I wanted another room. I choose to check out at 3 AM. I was told the Hotel informed me they would email my receipt and only charge me half of the room cost for the cockroaches I encountered.

Excessive noise | Candlewood Suites review from Cut Off, Louisiana

I was not offered any reduction in price for the sleepless nights and lack of respect. When notifying front desk of sounds of someone excessively stomping the floor above us, we were told that this was impossible as though we were making this up, they were either lying or the hotel is haunted. Either way we feel we should be refunded no less than 3 nights stay.

Hotel owner inquiry | Candlewood Suites review

Just wanted to know if a certain location was corporate-owned or run by a franchisee. Customer service representative from the Philippines said they don’t have that information, asked me to hold so that I can be transferred to customer help desk (isn’t that what I called?...hmm). Was hung up on after a minute.

I use clc with my company i gave them all the cards they needed when i got the evan my debit card for incidentals i checked out and then they charged my debit card for 147 that negatives my account i called all they said is i am sorry i have to wait 7 days not happy at all that money can be put back in my account it only took 7 seconds to take my money shill shy can it not be put back that way you don't mess with my money i will get really mad

No one has contacted me about this matter. The room had fleas. I got bit and my freshly groomed dog left with fleas and developed pink eye. This vet bill and having to sleep in my car that night has really taken away my faith in this company. It appears obvious that not only does this company not care are the health of their customers, but also their feelings.

Reservations were made for a group at one location (Broad St) - they told me they were under renovation and needed to switch us to VA Center Commons location. We ended up only having 2 families come into town needing a room. The one family called to state they were having difficulties and wouldn't be there on Friday but would be there on Saturday. When they arrived, their reservations had been cancelled. No other locations had rooms available (?) so they had to drive back to NC (with a baby)! The second family got in their room, but found mildew and mold on the hand towels and towels! I stay in multiple hotel chains and I'm a rewards customer -- We will NEVER stay at another Candlewood Suites location!!! Travelers Beware!!
