I never got my deposit back from the hotel and didn't get the room I booked. I've called the hotel multiple times about my deposit they keep telling me call my bank but when I call my bank they tell me to call the hotel

Theft concerns, smell in room

Facility called me right after I spoke with corporate. They were sorry I have missing items. I cannot say that I will ever stay or recommend this hotel.

Complaint about manager

Have been requesting room service since I've been here on fridays but no service provided by hotel mgr. Told me twice he was going to take care of it but never did, so i brought it up to his attention last week and i guess he was offended for me bringing it up to his attention.

This past Friday it happened again on 5/12/23. Hotel tell mgr confronted me on the hallway going to my room when i arrived from work. He told me that my room was not going to be cleaned because I'm a racist and that for me to look for another hotel. He was totally rude and condescending towards me.

I've served my country with great honor plus i was a firefighter for my community.

People who are racist don't live a life like that! Hotel mgr Robert Mandujano is the one who is racist!!!

Our room smelled musty and like urine with a damp spot on the carpet. The TV remote didnt work and there were a couple live cockroaches in our bathroom. The power went out once and eventually came back on. Our check in time was 3:30. Room wasnt ready and we finally got a room shortly after 8:00 PM!

Posting inappropriate videos of your guest on social media.

I stumbled across several tick-tok videos that were posted from your Williamsport Pennsylvania location. They were videos posted by the hotels manager, and they showed your guest in a very unflattering way. They are very insensitive to the people who have been videoed, and they should be taken down. I think the manager probably assumed that people would find the videos, funny, but they are actually very insensitive, and show no compassion, and are very disrespectful. The TikTok account is, @kyngalbertveira. take these videos off social media please.

I have a 22 disabled son who was a guest there and he was accused of smoking in the room when there was no smoke in the room at all he smoke outside and came in and the smoke could have still linger

I have a 22-year-old that is disabled he just got there on Saturday he is in a wheelchair with severe nerve damage for being shot last year the manager accused him of smoking marijuana in the room which he did not smoke marijuana in the room he always went outside to smoke marijuana because of his nerve damage the smell probably lingered in his clothing as he came inside of the building she gave him 3 hours to vacate the premises which we had to find rides to get him because he have so much equipment that he needs to use I think that is unfair his room did not smell like smoke and he was wrongfully accused and I'm going to file a complaint with the corporate office against this person and may also file a lawsuit as well

The organization that pay for him to be at this place is an attorney and he is aware of the situation so action will be filed against this hotel the hotel is in Bensalem PA and the manager's name is Sherry she deliberately lied on my son because when I came up there was no sign of any smoke in his room she accused him of spraying febreze when there was no febreze in the can and I even went downstairs and showed her the empty cans and she still did not believe me I don't believe they wanted him there from the beginning and I do believe that they was prejudice against his disability so he will be filing a complaint against this hotel because that's not how you treat a person especially when they are disabled you don't give a disabled person 3 hours to vacate the premises so it was very unfair

Had reservations and still got kicked out

I had reservations for two nights. Here with my girlfriend and her daughter.

I had reservations for 20-22 of may. I came in a day early and the front desk had fixed the dates to were I can stay 19-21 or so I thought. I had to work the next day. During work I got a call from my girlfriend saying that we were being kicked out.

So i sent the confirmation number to the front desk and he asked me to come up there. I had to leave my job and drive all the way back to town. Just to hear the front desk tell me that we have no reservations that Im not even in the computer. I show him my booking.com receipt.

And he said I need to leave now. By this time it was 11:00 am. He wouldnt even give me ten mins to see what was going on. I was under the impression that the night guy had said that he charged me $249 for two nights.

Now the morning guy is kicking me out and has no rooms Available even if something worked out his hotel was to full. I had to leave and find a place for my girl and her kid to stay while I finished my job. It took me three hours of my work day to figure that out. Then argued with the front seat about giving my money back and he said absolutely not then found out he charged me a getting out late fee.

How rude. Later in the evening I got a call saying they found my reservation and had me checked in. I spent half a day trying to get this fixed. Missed work.

Almost got fired. And all the guy had to do was be.

A little more understanding and helpful. I was lied to and they were very rude

There is a difference between making a mistake and lying. Lying means he deliberately deceived you.

This is a simple misunderstanding. Also just because you did not get what you want does not mean that they were rude.

Longer Term Stary

Stayed at the Fort Riley KS Candlwood Hotel and Suites at Fort Riley Kansas for 26 day business trip / Army mission. Upon check in, the GM (Marietta) didn't have a suite available, but found on for me the next day, and then she even had her most trusted employees move my belongings for me while I was at work - taking a load off of my mind after working a 12 hour work day!!

ALL of Marietta's crew (from House Keep staff to front desk personnel, exemplify professionalism in every way). What especially impressed me is that all her front desk crew (mainly Abby and Rashelle) memorized our names! Making us feel at home, which meant a lot to us since we spent so much time away from our those we loved.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL RECIEVE A MONETARY CASH BONUS FROM CANDLEWOOD CORPORATION IF AT ALL POSSIBLE; good help is hard to find, especially these days!! Take care of them, and they will take care of you.
